Hello amateur bloggers, today I am going to write an article about how to fix wordpress HTTP Error when uploading images. Two days ago I upgrade my WordPress dashboard to 4.7.2 but when I was trying to write an new article ad I started to getting the WordPress HTTP error when I trying to upload an image.

I search a lot about this problem  a lot of Bloggers write about how to fix WordPress HTTP Error but I can’t solved my problem. So I started study myself and at last I solved my problem. So in this article I mention about how to fix HTTP Error when uploading images.

How to fix WordPress HTTP Error

So WordPress 4.7.3 can’t upload JPG format for me. I tried a lot but nothing happen so I decided to change the format of the image. When I uploaded it in PNG format it’s uploaded just a few second. I don’t know why it’s not working. If you are facing the same problem like me you can try to upload an image in PNG format. If you don’t know how to convert an image to PNG format then you can use snipping tool which are available in all the windows machine.

If error not fix following previous steps then, i recommend you Increase your Max upload File size through your server.

How to Increase the Maximum File Upload Size in WordPress

    • Through Theme Functions.php File
@ini_set( 'upload_max_size' , '64M' );
@ini_set( 'post_max_size', '64M');
@ini_set( 'max_execution_time', '300' );
    • Edit PHP.INI
upload_max_filesize = 64M
post_max_size = 64M
max_execution_time = 300
  • Edit .htaccess Method
php_value upload_max_filesize 64M
php_value post_max_size 64M
php_value max_execution_time 300
php_value max_input_time 300
